Nissanfanatic, maybe the autometer was telling the truth and it's the AVC-R that's inaccurate....ever think about that?

probably not.. the avc-r should be connected to the ecu, which to me would be more reliable than having something connected to the fpr. air flow will be more consistant than fuel delivery.

well this is the first time ive heard of people having problems with autometer..ive used them before and never had any troubles but pay what you want, and get what you want.

kinda partial to the blitz blm gauges myself. dont know if they work for crap, but want them for my car.

are you sure your boost was set right when the engine was tuned?? maybe you missed something and never noticed your autometer wasn't working..

Apexi AVC-R wrong?? I think not....

Not so much that it is connected to the ECU(acutually just tapped into a few wires on the harness), but rather that it is the best EBC on the market. AVC-Rs are NOT inaccurate. And anyone who woudl believe an Autometer mechanical boost gauge over an AVC-R is just attempting to prove someone wrong to look better, not project correct information.

thats a pretty good writeup..I guess its more of you get what you pay for. Even at that, autometers guages are still pricey.

personally i dont like the green coloring the greddy and other cheap guages have
to me it just doesnt look all that great, but its definitely better than "condoms" lol
