Re: SS\SC Vs. NSX
I don't think that the nsx ever came in automatic
I think that BullDog should dyno his SS/SC, so we can see if he has some sort of miracle engine in there making like 20 hp more than it's supposed to. I think he wasn't a very good driver, because he should have raped you on the launch. MR layout should launch a lot better than FF layout with wheel hop.

You would think so huh I'm just glad that I didn't get the insane wheel hop that I do on the track. At least when I'm on the street I can still keep on it untill it grabs and then the wheel hop goes away. At the track if I don't back off the throttle right away it keeps getting worse untill the car is shaking itself to peices.

Actually they did offer it in an auto and I may have to retract my previous statment about the manual. I think it may have been an auto. Hey tat11, how well did the auto cars do stock? Regaurdless if it was an auto or not, the car was still a lightly upgraded and put out around 240-250 whp.

the very first nsx's with the 5 spoke rims and tiny 15x7.5 rims in the back those cars only runs 14 flat, then the years where they started having 17 inch rims and when it had a color matching roof ( the earlier models had black roofs ) those would run high 13's and traps around 102-103mph. the color matching roof came around 94 or 95 if i remember correctly. the 3.2 liter 6 speeds came out around 97-98. those are the low 13 mid 13 second ones that runs with E46 M3's.

He said he's putting down about 240-250 whp with his mods which leads me to believe it was the 3.0L version and that would make it around a 94-96 NSX. So mid 90's was about right. These cars were rated at 270 bhp from the factory, but I dunno if they actually came with their advertised ratings or not. Either way, it's still an awesome car and it's a good thing that it was the older version of the NSX or it wouldn't have been much of a race for me.

Re: SS\SC Vs. NSX
Good kill man, ya know, everytime I read one of your stories, I wanna buy one of those SS/SCs. The only problem is its wrong wheel drive. I promised myself that my next car wouldn't have less than six cylinders unless it has force induction and would be rear or all wheel drive. But hey, thats just me, and your car seems to be pretty bad ass. Good kill again!

Re: SS\SC Vs. NSX
i just can't understand......your car runs at BEST 14.69, so we can safely say your car is mid-high 14 second car, and you beat an EVO and an NSX on the highway which are high 13 second cars to low 14 second cars
I can't put the pieces together, there must be something wrong because i can't believe that there are so many shitty drivers out to win that many times

Maybe it's not that they're all shitty drivers, it could just be that I'm the best driver EVAR!11!1 Quote:
Thanks dude, glad you enjoyed it. I'm sure there will be more good once to come as well. ![]() Quote:
If this was my only car, I doubt I woulda bought it, being fwd and all. But I was looking for a fun daily driver since I've got a rwd V8 beast in the works. So I really didn't mind the FWD factor because of that. I do have to say that it is a damn fun car to drive, very surprising for a GM compact.
