Re: a lil confused

Hey smartass I hope you get reported for being an idiot.

Was that directed at the topic creator or me? I suppose I was a bit too harsh, but really, are you fine with people driving while not watching where they're going?

I'm not one of the "always follow the speed limit, stop for a full 3 seconds at every stop sign" kind of people. I am, however, a big advocate of common sense... looking where you're going in a car while driving it should be common sense.

That said, to be more encouraging and less hostile to the topic creator... buy a manual, leave the cell phone off. Driving should be way more fun than texting. If you care about texting people while driving, you bought a boring car. Don't buy a boring car.

Not dissing the Camry... it's a great car for practical purposes... just probably not what you're looking for.

I would guess that if you get a manual 240Sx, Celica, Integra, or whatever, your cell phone would be the last thing on your mind. Just be sure to get a manual... more fun that way, and then you won't be bored enough to play with your cell phone while driving.

Re: a lil confused

If you get a manual, you'll have a hard time even holding your cell phone while you drive, so that'll take care of that problem.

Of course I wish I had a WRX now, but I don't regret it. First of all, when I got the car, I was (and still am) a noob at manual transmission, not to mention the fact that I'm honestly not a very good driver yet, so it would've been a complete waste for me to get a WRX. And secondly, I'm starting to realize that I don't love the Impreza like I used to. In the $25K range, my eyes are wandering more towards things like, say, lightly used RX-8's.

Re: a lil confused

ok, first i would like to thank you all again. you guys have been lots of help..

about me txt messaging while driving , i dont do it all the time, only when my friends that are overseas want to talk. as i said on my first message i am new in america not just new with cars, so i have lots of friends back home, and i got to stay in touch with them even while driving.. anyway maybe as shinkutat said its because i am not enjoying the car.

now here is my latest news, i found a 99 prelude that is in pretty good condition for 5 thousand something, isnt that cheap for that type of car. i didnt check if it was a v-tech or not. i dont know if i should get it or not.
i also found a 94 bmw 325i, is it a fast car stock compared to a 240sx same year model also stock???

and i am still looking for a 240sx to check it out since thts what everyone is recomending
as for the celica everyone says there not as fast as the rest , so why get it....i am looking for a car that is realiable but it also has to be one of the fastest realiable car i can find, and i dont car about the looks at all, any car can look good to after adding a little artistic touch to it..

Guys, none of this fits together. Where does someone from a little village in the middle east ("where the war is"?), knowing nothing about cars, etc etc. And then the slang. Oh, c'mon. I appreciate all y'all's sincerity, but this guy ain't for real.

Re: a lil confused

I wouldn't say he knows nothing about cars... just they probably have different sets of cars available over there... more Mercedes, BMW type stuff.

A friend of mine is from Palestine, he has driven plenty of Mercedes and BMWs, but isn't really familiar with, say, Nissan.

Re: a lil confused

Good point. There's not a great deal of "middle class" in that part of the world; those who are rich enough to drive, are generally rich enough to drive luxurious European brands.
