I hate those things.. really makes you feel uncomfortable unless they got like some kind of design or the water is running from 5 different places into the drain hole so that it looks like a water musical that you're taking part in.

The worst is probably when your taking a poop and someone in the next stall comes running into the restroom. Into the stall next to you and just lets out a BOMB!!! Then after that he thinks it's ok to talk. All this time you are terying to hold your breath because you can't stand your own crap, then when someone else drops a shit splatter, it makes it 100 times worse. While trying to hold your breath you try not to laugh.

I know most guys when they are pooping ina public place, and someone comes in next to you and shits loudly, while you are, most of the time, trying to do it quietly, you start to smirk and want to laugh out loud.

Oh by the way the first paragraph has happened to me. It was so wrong.

This happened at work tonight (it's 4:30am just got home), I had to pee so I ran into the rest room (about 2:30ish) and the assistant General Manager was in there at the 5ft long pee thing, I was kinda nervous, I could hear his radio going off (security radio) and he started laughing, I was like "wtf mate". Then I thought, "Why does this situation remind me of something I've read", then I log onto AF and here it is, I actually made a thread about it and forgot... Woah I'm good. *hits head*

It depends on the situation. At the truck stops they usually carry on breif and basic conversation. But if it is at school or any other place I rather piss in peace.

I agree. Some are just insecure of their sexuality and thus fee threaten being talked to in such a private environment. The way I see it is if you are in a regular bathroom where the urinals have a partial partition between you and theother guy, who cares if he starts talking to you, even if you glance at the guy (like you would normally do out in the street when talking to someone) that partition blocks you from seeing the other guys privates. Then again, on the other side of the coin, if someone talks to you while using those European type communal urinal basins that nothing blocks your view, I can see just staring at the wall and avoiding anyone or any talk, those things have no privacy whatsoever.

I usually don't say this to another member, but you dude are an idiot.
Just because you don't get pee on your hands does not indicate that you are germ free or disease free. lets say for instance the dude before you does have some contagious infectious disease that can be transmitted. He goes to pee, does not wash his hands and touches the flush handle. You do the same and touch the very flush handle or even the door knob. Viola, you just got it. Washing your hands is one of the most effective ways to reduce the spread of infectious diseases.
