Re: Having a bit of a personal crisis...

Hey if you want to start drawing, check out the art section. Sometimes when I'm feeling down I'll look for nice pictures of cars, then draw them. See the sig

Re: Having a bit of a personal crisis...

I am 16 also and can relate to how you are feeling. What do you enjoy doing? What ever it is there is an occupation for it. College is overrated. You don't need it unless you need to go for a certain profession(lawyer, docto, ect). It may sound corny but spend the next two years"finding yourself". Explore different options for carrers. Did you know a tug boat captian can make $100,000 a year I think it is?

Re: Having a bit of a personal crisis...

I've only got about a year to find myself. I really want to be a grease monkey of some sort. If it makes exhaust and noise I love it. And yes, I know how much money boat captains can make....there are two fisheries within 10 miles of my house. As a matter of fact, I'm related to one of the owners, but on the wrong side of the family. Therefore, we get no money from it. BTW, is that YOUR chevelle in your sig?

I've played a squire It was sweet... You should go for that but try to stick to it, I've found that there's nothing like pride to make someone motivated. Get good at it so you can be proud of what you do, and it will seem easier from there.

Re: Having a bit of a personal crisis...

Definatly. I got turned onto playing by my stepmother's adopted father. www.thestoryman.com ...thats his website. I have a different taste in music. What really surprised me is how good my dad can play...he picked up Ralph's guitar and played "Dueling Banjos" Dad's gonna give me lessons when I pick one up.

Re: Having a bit of a personal crisis...

Your 16 and have a Chevelle SS...lucky bastard. I have a friend that would kill for a '71. My grampa just got through with his '61 Biscayne that he's been working on for years, so I've got muscle car fever now I guess...anyhow, later
