i dont think people are getting the point of this forum....this isnt about ls/vtec...or sr20s....its just nice and simply...."B16A or a B18C" thats it....just those two...ok.........and for 8gs...im not going to "buy another car"....for a whole car build up... 8gs aint much....rims w/tires is already close to 2 grand....a engine...2 or so grand....coilovers...a good grand or so.....ext...intake..headers...ecu... with 8 grand to build up the engine and susp. i think it goes by pretty quick......

so....lets start over again......

I just purchased a 1994 EG6 hatch. I'm planning on a engine swap soon. The weapons of choice: either a B16A or B18C. Which of the two is "overall" the "better bang for your buck" engine??? Meaning, gives you the better response, acceleration, and price. To make this more interesting, I'm willing to spend a maximum of $8,000 for the engine including parts.

You can buy running awd SVX's for $1,500-$4,000.. use the rest of your budget on a turbo kit and other mods

My lsvtec is closing on her 1st birthday running like a champ. I dont own a shop or, work in the "import scene". I make alot more money doing what I do now then sending 17 year olds to die after welding on a APEXI n1 can to the 1989 honda civic daddy bought them *see you*

Face it your the one driving around in a crap stock car and I'm the one happy with his "time bomb". You've yet to even try to make up a good reason why lsvtec isn't a good idea. You just bash pointlessly because you have no good reasons, no facts, no proof.

Mine was built and tuned well thats the key when a knuckle dragging moron like your self JBwelds a XSI teg head to a b18b block and takes it to 9500RPM stock it'll blow. Is that why Mr. Pissy Pants JDM ness hates lsvtecs so much?

first of all....i opened this thread because i dont have honda engines... but i can tell u this much.....i had a 240sx....s13 front...sr20det....running 13.2.......i still have a mk3.....with a 1jz.....pushing 500hp and going....no nos...street driven.....

now u f*ckin tell me what i just said.....FIRST...do u even now what a mk3 is???? a 1jz....FUCK no.....cause why......all u know is honda!!!!!
me on the other hand........im not just about one car brand......i aint living in no nut shell like u.......shit....honda this honda that.......honda aint all that alright....like yeah...i got one....and its a great car....but... this isnt the car i want forever...its a project car........this is the reason why i didnt buy a honda at first.....TOO MANY PEOPLE THINK THEY SOO BADASS.....they're overrated.....so many white boys who dont know shite about it wants one just because of the fast and the furious.... just making our cars look bad.......so thats why i bought a 240....but no...now....its all about drifting.....everyone wants to be just like tak...thats why i sold my 240.....its going to be out done.....and overrated.....people wants a 240 with a sr20 for 13grand....hell no.... thats too expensive.....i tell u this much....i was once the biggest honda fan....til they got out done....now...im back....for one reason....just to show the streets of MN a JDM civic......
