Great progress.
You did a great work in the engine bay. But I think you should have sand the molded wires and change them to real instead painting it.
But anyhow it looks great

Re: '70 Dodge Superbee Pro Street

This is lookin great man. Very nice detailing on the whole engine bay. And the pictures with the rims and tires, it just looks mean and nasty. Great job................*Ryan*

I painted the molded wires because when I make real wires it will be a bit too busy in the engine (i don't know how to explain).
And I painted them again so now it's good.

I have spent very much time to paint the texture on the tyres but it's very difficult. This is the first time I do this... but I think they're finished now. Now it looks like the tyres are used a few times. And I think it looks better than brand new shiny tyres with very glossy white letters
BTW the ''S'' was very hard to paint.

hope you like it.

Now I have to fitt the wheels on the chassis, and when it's done I can finally make the interior.

Update:

The front wheels are fitted also the subframe etc.

Now I'm working on the transmission and the rear suspension.
I made some new springs because the springs from AMT sucks.
They're not finished but it's an impression. I have to make the spring right.

I think it's 10 times better now

When everything is fitted I make some new pics.

The springs on the back are a major let down, that's why I replaced them on my GTX, I'll dig it out again and post some pics of the springs that I made, I think they are a vast improvement on the kit supplied springs. Keep up the good work.

Re: '70 Dodge Superbee Pro Street

Hahha I don't know because there's no differents between the 2 springs.

The transmission and the exhausts are finished I only have to glue it and then I will make some pics

Does anyone have some nice pics of the interior of this car? I need some pics of the dashboard and the rear seats. The front seats are racing seats. Also need some pics of the door panels (inside)

When you have some pics for me post them here or send me a personal message.
Thanks!

In my GTX there are no rear seats, there wasn't any in the kit, the rear of the interior has been made to look like they have been replaced by alloy sheeting the same as the door panels, as regards to the rear suspension springs here is a pic of the shocks I made for my GTX out of alloy tubing and some wire for the springs:

hope you get yours together soon, I'm itching to see it

I completed the chassis and all including parts.

I used on wash of tamiya smoke the exhausts so it looks like they're used

Here some pics:

Here can you see the exhausts ends which I scratschuilded

I'm making this car for an BCC competition on a forum in Holland. The end date is MARCH so I have much time

Now I will begin to make the interior. I will use colours like semigloss yellow and semigloss black. A huge Nos bottle also comes in the interior. And a roll-cage of course .

Hope you like this

See you @ the next update!

So I did some progress on the interior

I sprayed the seats and sidepanels and the dashboard Matt Black (tamiya). Then I used some BMF to replicate the chrome strips on the sidepanels. With some silver paint I painted the door-handles and the window handel (don't know how to say).

The dashboard I detailled with some silver switches. I used a custom steering wheel. I putt some BMF on the underside of the dashboard because I thought it's to black .

Because it's a sort of Drag car I made a shift light. It's made of an headlight from a motorcycle with some putty. And used a decal from an dash for a motorcycle.

Then I painted the roll cage in bright red. I used an custom shifter for this car.

I only have to make some carpet I will use some interiorflocks in Dark Grey. Photo's coming soon of that.

here some crappy photo's (didn't had much time to make good ones)

*the pics are dry-fitted but it's on impression of how it will be*
