now ive seen evyrthing did you put the can up close to the car J/K dont worry about it ive done way worse than that i airbrused a viper candy apple pearl the paint job looked cool so i left the car alone. i came back up to look on it and all the red ran off the boddy into seams and gutters i got so pist i treww it towards the front of the attic where i think the body is still there.

my lesson was let the primer ,base, and color coats dry at seperate times
my suggestion after you fix it is to mist the coats silver on to your car and let it dry overnight.

Dont talk s#$% about other peoples cars i know everybody in here has done it once or twice i just doest come to you like that it takes practice even pros F!@# up too.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah man, I'm not making fun of your car dude, I've had worse trust me. Practice makes perfect, the important thing is you learn what you did wrong and correct it in the future, in this case, I'll tell you what I think happened:

1.) No primer, slippery plastic
2.) You said it rained immediately after you sprayed it, which means the air must have been very humid. On every can of spray paint it will say DO NOT SPRAY IN HIGH HUMIDITY. Trust those words!!

Lets carm it down abit guys...the modelling forum is the last place i want to come to and start using my moderater powers to start closing threads due to flaming ..j/k....i get enough of this in the other forums !!!..lol

I could not beleive it when i saw the pics either ....i have to say it looks pretty bad....thank god for CSC to help you out.

But hey...never mind...we all make mistakes and hopefully you will learn from this.
The first few models i done were shocking to...and i still do make cock-ups...but by listening to what other people say and taking in all the info you can, will make you into a better builder.
Its so good to see that you are determined to carry on and build this model the best you can. I wish you luck and look forward to seeing the finished job plus updates.
Good luck

We were just having a little joke, along with something called critisism, you know where we congradulate people for there good work and have a little joke about the bad work. Im sure that it is going to come out good and like always I look forward to seeing the finished product.
Turbo86: Dont be up so tight like that, when I stuff up I take the critisisms and jokes and take the whole thing as a joke as im sure MX100 is and if he finds it the least bit offensive he will tell us and we will stop, and there is no need to retaliate in a offencive way, if MX100wants to do that, he can (but the moderators wont like it) but he can speak for himself.
I apologise if I offended anybody by what I said but here in Australia there is something called freedom of speech.
Just my $0.02.

oh boy....emm, everybody calm down. I've seen too many flame wars being started in other forums like this.

Ok, I admit that I was over reacting when in my first reply. To those that got offended, I'm sorry.

Personally, I think we should all just let this thread die. We do all want this modelling forum to be fun and enjoyable for everyone, right? I'll promise to keep my temper done and hope everyone else will too.

ok.....first of all....i meant no disrespect to you mx100......i didn't think you'd get pissed off because i stated that my ITR was a LOOOT worse than yours.....i know how you feel.....and you said it was a screwed up altezza so i thought you were just trying to amuse us by showing how it looks before you bathe it in CSC.......so if you took my comments that way, then i apoligize......you may notice that i spoke in a humorous tone....not flaming.....

P.S. WTF do u think ure funny??............... I have type-R stickers on my bike.....will it go faster.............. STFU mustang!!~
umm.....if you read it closely, i said my ITR was way WORSE than his car and i just wanted to maybe cheer him up or something......i never said "your cars sucks shit, stop modelling" or anything like that.....i DO realize everyone makes mistakes.......but when you show everyone your mistakes, you are welcoming some sort of criticism.......i knwo you're not asking to be flamed on, mx100.....you're just showing us how your altezza looks so we can compare it to how good it will look later on.....i know mx100 will make it look better.......

and for your second remark......if you looked around AF for a little bit....you would realize that i'm an import fan......i just don't like people out there w/ pseudo stickers all over their cars.......IT"S CALLED A JOKE!!!!!!.......everyone else caught it, i don't know why you're taking it to the head......look around the honda/acura forum.......you'll see that most people just laughed and complimented it for MAKING A JOKE!......chill out.......and i don't drive a mustang, but i wouldn't mind driving one either.....i drive a civic for your information.....

Unhappy

I better not reply to some of those posts...

Turbo86: No need to apologise, It was late and I was tired and I over-reacted.
But lets face it, all families have arguements...all friends do as well, its just natural, so lets forget about this thread and get back to helping each other.
So next time people are having a little joke, put J/K or a next to it, to stop arguements happening.
