Lets not ruin the man's thread, whats the latest update Chris?

It was hour 72 since the accident earlier today, in the late afternoon. My football coach said he went to visit him at the hospital, and said, that his numbers (pressure numbers, his brain swelled as part of the injury) had decreased yesterday but had jumped back up this morning back to their previous state. My coach said he was told, that if the numbers don't go down within the next 24 hours, then his chances are very "bleak," I think is what he used. He said he had made some slight movements, other than that, not much improvement.

Everyone gathered this afternoon at the headmaster's house, where he talked to us about getting counceling if we needed it, and i wasn't surprised that half the team all had difficulties psychologically, and had trouble with school work and sleeping. I just haven't been able to hold myself together either, everytime I see a black honda crv, I think about Kurt (what he drove), or when I hear his name or see his picture, I just can't hold it. What just amazes me more, is that he is still so young, and that if he doesn't make it, that his life had to end so early. Kurt is the kinda guy, that you cannot hate, or dislike. everybody loved him, he was just a guy to love (dont take that the wrong way), if you know what I mean, everybody at blair loved him.

I really don't know what to say more...we still just have to wait, pray, and hope.

Best of luck to your bud, sounds like hes going to need it.

These kinds of things effect communities very hard. Two students in our school died within a week at my school. They actually hired 4 or 5 counselors to come in, and our school already had 6 or 7 on hand any time.
