Re: What are the best ways to beef up the 03-05?

Easy there noob, -Jayson- was pointing out that ecotecs can run fast times on stock internals, not that they can take high boost. Burned and owned? Where in the crazy fuck did that come from? No one even half disproved him. I dont think "the most retarded person on this forum" could have boosted his Cavalier, and you should bite you lip before you start pissing off senior members of this forum. This thread has run its course, now let it die.

Engine:

Prothane Polyurathane Lower Motor Mount
RKS Upper Motor Mount
Prothane Polyurathane Transmission Mounts
Minor Accent Painting
Hahn Racecraft Stage 2 Turbo Kit (222 horsepower and 224 pound/feet of torque at an average of 6.5PSI and a maximum of 7.9PSI on that run)
3 inch custom made exhaust with a Flowmaster 40 series muffler
Nitrous Express CO2 N-Tercooler Sprayer with 10 pound tank
Turbonetics VBC

BE SURE and check out the boost numbers he was running.
haha my friend you officially have been burned and i hope u do some reading, WHEREVER you can find information about ANY car....... then you can come back and try again later
be sure to re-read -jayson-'s post smartass.. see the 7PSI run COMPARED to the 15PSI run?

ever thought of reading before making yourself look stupid?

and just because your friends "vtec" integra blew a rod at 9PSI means NO motor will ever go past that?

bone stock zetec out of a focus will put down 300+ WHP at 15 PSI on a stock motor/bottom end/top end..

Re: What are the best ways to beef up the 03-05?

Yeah, and stock 6 bolt 4g63's can take up to 400-500hp on stock internals. Also, PSI doesnt mean what everyone thinks it means. 15 psi on a t25 is lots different (less power) than 15 psi on a 50 trim.

OT, aphalanos that car in your sig has my rims! Mine are silver, but thats the first car I have seen with my same rims except for a wrecked Talon that bent the rims to hell.

How did this go from a helpful and informative thread asking a simple question to a pissing contest?

Re: What are the best ways to beef up the 03-05?

(
http://www.j-body.org/members/suncavi/cars/1/
http://www.j-body.org/members/hypsy1/cars/2/
http://www.j-body.org/members/djclueless/cars/2/
)

are all 3 of those running the same exact engine?

one with T3/T04E Turbo, one with Hahn Racecraft Stage 2 Turbo Kit (which i think comes with Mitsubishi Super 16G), and one with a modded T3 GT35R turbo?

if they are the same exact engine between all people, is it that their acceleration strategy as drivers are different?

generally you are supposed to gear your turbo to reach maximum efficiency around peak RPM, right?
