Re: 1.49 in the 60' reaps a 11.131 @ 123.75!
I dont know about this intentionally going to try and blow something up though man. I mean you could end up getting your trannie, rearend, driveshaft, etc. etc. etc. Or even worse, it could come apart around the 1000 ft mark and leave ya a nice oilly/water surface to drive through.
It'd be a shame to wreck your car just trying to get a 10 second pass out of an engine you know is going to let go. I mean if you think it'll stand it pour it to it but I personally wouldn't run an engine I knew was going to let go (and from the sound of your first post, your's is def. ready to let go).

Don't listen to him. Hyde has to run 10s. Why don't you tune for 30 psi? Make a run at 25-26 psi, and if it's 10s, and Hyde is still driveable, crank it up to 30 psi.

final round appearance at Summer Slam: (right click - save as) http://www.jekylhyderacing.com/images/dragclip.mpeg chevy'struck, I appreciate your concern, but I have already run close to 26 psi and it held together. It just was tuned to go pig rich (which it did). We are going to "guestimate" a tune for it at 25-26 psi and let it run it's course. As for leaving an oily mess to drive through ... I think you are forgetting my engine is in the back between the wheels

Well, like I said, if you think it will stay together then lay it on it, lol.
I didnt realize your engine was in the back, but even so, that could be just as bad, lol. If it let go it'd be slinging oil right on the back tires. Anyways, I think now the conditions will determine just how fast you do wind up going. Good luck!!
