Stage 3 clutch is a BITCH!

hmm....i dunno if i have a stock clutch or not but its harder to push in than any other clutch ive felt and it chirps 2nd on this pos shit motor and if i shift into 2nd at a low rpm and pull off the clutch it jerks.....do new oem clutches do this? i know the guys said there was a new clutch dunno if its oem or not

Yes they do.

Yea they do, my friend has a GSR with a stock clutch and he chirps 3rd, but that could be because he has a GSR

it feels like stock when you push in on it. i can't speak for stage 3...audi says it's too grabby. i like the stage 2. it is grabby, but not too bad. it was easy to get used to.

now i have heard of racers running turbo on the track that have burned through a center force stage 2. if that is what i were going to do with my car i would probably go with a ACT stage 3. then again i wouldn't be driving it daily either

Chirping gears messes your car?????? i didnt know that!!!!!!! what u mena by lose traction??. i do it when im racing and showing off sometimes..my car chirps up to 3rd gear i never tried 4th..anywayz write back
P.S u gotta be gentil with your stage 3, when i first got it , i always peeled out in first and 1 time i just reved it hard and stated peeling out, it felt like i was doing a brake stand, i love my clutch..100% grip

i have the ACT extreme and love it, its pretty grabby, i actually broke em loose shifting into third with a mostly stock d16a6... and what they were saying is that when you chirp or break loose it isn't neccessarly a good thing b/c when your tires are spinning you aren't accelerating so its not to good to do in races...

I definitely reccomend centerforce stage 3. I got it put on my car and it feels awesome, grabs really good, and i dont know what you guys are talking about it being hard to drive, mine isnt too far from stock feeling
