That is the fuel tank vent, to keep you from getting negative pressure in the tank.

over in the silvy forum a couple weeks ago, some guy was like. My self dimming rearview mirror bled all over my paint!!!! Everyone was all laughing at him because theres not liquid in mirrors........right??? WRONG! lol. in the self dimming mirrors there is a gel like liquide and if it touched plastic or paint it pretty much eats its way through. So everyone felt pretty stupid after they were talking shit to the guy lol.


sorry, the muffler bearing thing got me thinking about that one thread.

ever seen wheels on a muffler?

some ricers use it because it helps to keep their muffler from dragging

plus its like a 5hp increase in friction loss
