My Spyder's been called "rice". Why? Some don't like the dual exhaust. Some don't like the guages. Some don't like the hood. Some don't like the lip. The list is endless...

In the end, , just do your own thing. You can't make everyone happy at the same time, and "modding" your car is all about personal taste and opinion...just like anything else in life, not everyone's going to agree with what you put on your car.

Well said bro!!! Threads like this are a big waste of my time.... and one of a few reasons why I don't come on here near as much anymore....

Hey guys, I think it's cool to take whatever you have and make it faster. If you want to change the looks, that's your business. However, when you use a satelite dish for a spoiler on your trunk, or your roof (as someone said they did in here) don't be supprised when we laugh at you...NOT with you. As you can guess I'm a Mustang guy, but I haven't had a Mustang for about a year now. Don't like sliding in the snow with my daughter in the back! I will get another in the summer but until then I am looking at adding more power to my 3.0 DOHC 24V Taurus. I know, I know, it's a Taurus, but if you guys can do it so can I. Besides it has 200hp and 200tq stock. But I am not and will not act as if it can beat a Mustang or Z28...etc...etc... Like I said, take whatever you have and make it faster, that's cool. Hell I'm doing it to a Taurus! Oh, and Spyder, your wheels are cool, and the hood is awesome, just wish the color matched the rest of the car. I know, I know, it's probably carbon fiber, but the car looks good.

I agree with MexRocket... This is bullshit, this is like the 4th NEW thread for this same topic this week. They are a waste of everybodys time. Personally, I don't give a shit if someone is a ricer or not anymore...

Josh, MexRocket is right, we need a sub forum for these pointless ricer threads. Can you create one, or create a sticky for one of these threads so that we don't see a new one every other day?

Hey Blackcrow, I like the Talon. Have you taken it to the track? What do they run stock in the 1/4mile? My wife and I almost bought one back in 97 but I said no, went with ofcourse...the Mustang. It would be nice to drive a quick car in the winter though and not have to put it away until spring. I still have Ford blue going through my veins but, I hate to say this, I'm starting to open my mind a little.....Paying $2.50 for gas is helping me to do that I think.

I ran a 16.01 stock. Of course, I only had been driving standard for about a week when I did that. lol I haven't taken it back since then though. There were all these DSMers there laughing at my time and I was like screw this and left. I guess they are supposed to run mid to low 15's stock though. You should get a turbo DSM though, they are very fun to drive. They are faily cheap to mod also. You can do the intake, exhaust, and some free mods and probably dip into the 14's with some good driving. DSM's are definetly the way to go. Unless I ever decide to twin turbo a Trans Am...

We have too many stickies as it is, and seeing "AM I A RICER" stickies at the top everyday when I come on here to find something other than exactly that, will make me want to not look at this forum again.

*PLEASE* close the damn thread already. This is getting rediculous.
