Of course we're all screwed when someone steals the 'stupid chip' remote control. Other than that, I like the idea.

I'm with you lot on this one, thieves can't hack it that someone has honestly paid for something and are enjoying them, so they rip the people off, whats worse if they can't beat cars deadlocks they will just do as much damage to the car as they possibly can- way back in 1997 my dad's Toyota Landcruiser Prado was broken into, they couldn't beat the locks so they just smashed the windows, dented the panels and ran............

There is a real awesome steering lock in Britain you can get these steering locks which are a taser and when touched give the thief a shock that will make him pass out, although I don't think they could beat the gloves that most thieves wear

I would much rather have the average punter in society than these hunks of crap

Wow, I am confused!

In one thread you try to explain the value of human life... now you say that we should go around chopping people up

You must understand...I put tremendous value on innocent human life. However, once someone crosses the line into criminal activity which harms others, I would recommend doing anything necessary to prevent them participating in the behavior again. If chopping off a burglar's hands is what it takes to stop him stealing, I say do it. If execution is what's required to stop a murderer or child molester, I support that too. It's not even what's against the law or not...it's what harms innocent people.

Theives suck cock n ballz.

A few weeks ago a guy on the neons.org board posted that his car had been stolen and burned...he posted pics. His car was a well done car, lots o performance/suspension upgrades, stereo system, overall was a very well done car. Well the kids who did this stole only the stereo equipment and burned the rest. The car was found about 20 miles from where he lived...his dream car nothing but a useless and charred shell.

Then last week I came across a link to RX7 message board. Some guy (who lots of members considered a cool or a friend) stole a fellow board member's RX7 and started parting it out. The dumb ass made posts on the VERY same board for parts to sell. Another member drove to the thiefs house, took pics and turned them over to police. The guy was arrested and admitted to everything, and the owner had recognized the wear on his seats...which were sitting in the thief's house. After the story unfolded some more...it turned out the guy had asked the owner for his VIN under the guise of "messing around on carfax to see where your car has been." The guy took that VIN to the dealer and got a key made, then took the car.

Then Alex's Neon also became a victim of crime...fortunately it was only the CD player taken, but the car was still violated nonetheless. The CD player that was in it was mine and it was one I really liked (my old Kenwood MASK head unit). It could have been worse....but like the original topic said.....THIEVES NEED TO DIE.

Why do they have to destroy a persons car after they rip them off... Makes me glad I don't drive a nice flashy car that attracts thieves...
