The Best Street Race You Ever Had!!!

Well, mine wasn't even a race. I was at a red light waiting to pull up to a near gas station. Then some other Civic hatch pulls up next to me revin his engine. I could hear the muffler just rippin, yearning for a race. Now keep in mind, I have a civic hatch cx with no mods, which means i have nuthin but 70 lil ponies under my hood. none-the-less, i decide to humor this guy. I start revin mine and I can just see the anticipation in him, i mean the guy looks like he's about to get laid for the first time or sumthin. When the light turned green he hauled it like a bat out of hell. I mean he was giving it all he had. SSSCREEEEECH, VVRROOOOOOMM!!! I just shifted into 1st and ever so calmly pulled into the gas station. Had me laughin like krazy. He has one less race in his car now and I have a full tank of gas.

1st best race i ever had was in a Volvo 850 T5 estate car of all things a few years back!! we pulled up to some traffic lights, and a guy in a souped up Celica GT-4 pulled up next to us thinkin he would take the piss out of us with his girl in the passenger seat. The look on his face when the volvo put down all of its 250hp onto the tarmac and left him in the rear view mirror

2nd best ever wasnt a drag race, but was in a new Mini Cooper against a Saab turbo of some kind, must of been tuned by the speed it was going. The new mini handles the bollox and the race was down a twisty local B-road. We were all over each others tail for about 5-10 miles, pushing the car to the limits round the corners. Was a wikid race, until the damn speed cameras ruined it
