Yea... I'm getting a guy to run the carfax just to make sure there are no major problems. I bought it from Smithfield Chevrolet in NC. They didn't give me any info on the truck as far as carfax and owners go. I only know the original owner b/c he put his name and address and phone number in the owners manual. Hhaha.

Re: LS Autoride, anyone know what this is?
93mx6lsv6, Take a quick look at your shocks TONIGHT and see if you have hoses/elect lines going in/out of your shocks in the back.
You got my curiosity |

I looked at the rear, looks like regular shocks to me. Only has one hose coming out of the rear, its at the bottom of the shock. But what makes me curious is do the Autoride's have the LS Autoride emblem on both sides of the vehicle or just one? I have LS Autoride on the passenger rear, and a regular LS on the driver side rear.

Sounds to me like you have a real nice option that I imagine was not a cheap option either. I could certainly imagine an older person ordering such an option - because their focus would be on smooth ride - even if they were or weren't trailering. I wouldn't mind having such an option - thats for sure. You're focused on it like its a negative - its a big big positive in my viewpoint. White Lightening |

Does this option include any type of switch or something located in the vehicle?

Re: LS Autoride, anyone know what this is?
Nope, no switch. I had a 2002 Yukon XL with Autoride. It's an "automatic" system. If you do in fact have a "hose" out of your rear shocks, then you have it. If you go to the dealer, they can pull the codes from the computer and tell you if it in fact has it or not. If you ever have the computer replaced, it will need to be reprogrammed with any and all computer controlled options, like Autoride or Onstar etc. The dealer can help ya find out for sure.

Re: LS Autoride, anyone know what this is?
I also have some questions on a 2004 Suburban rear shocks (code G65 and ZW7) How do I start a new thread/post ?
Just purchased a new travel trailer and I have a 2004 Suburban 1500 w/5.3L flex fuel. The rear suspension numbers in the glove box say G65 and ZW7 I have blown out one of the rear shocks. It is a Sachs TW4 I believe. Does anyone have experience with this, I believe this is a speacial suspension for the towing package and I need to find out where I can get original replacement/ Thank you |
