I feel your pain man. I bought a 14B and ended up having to shell the cash for a Evo16g because the one I bought was in such bad shape. Oh well. Live and learn.

Re: My darn car..

do you think that the stock intercooler piping would have anything to do with the boost level not rising. I am going to switch the mbc around today. I was able to get 14 lastnight but i but the mbc before the EBC. So if i put it after it i should be able to controll the boost a little better Hope and pray. My friend has a civic that he thinks is fast and he wants me to race him but 1st i don't like street racing and 2nd its a civic. He has intake headers exhaust and a 50 shot of spray. I think he also has a vtec controller but its not even a dohc vtec. Such a waist of gas. I should be able to smoke him at 12 psi even with his nos.

Re: My darn car..

Do you have the stock UICP? If so, that is definitely not helping your situation. I know BoostedSpyder replaced his stock with a hard pipe and got some 4 lbs/min more flow so it is definitely a limiting factor.

Re: My darn car..

yeah all of the ic pipe is stock i haven't had the money to upgrade yet but now that i have a job i will start again but i know that turbo should reach full boost faster than 5000 rpms. Full boost is 13psi in third gear. Its really shity but for now thats where i sit for now. when i drove my friends 1g is turbo kicked in like the t25 does on our cars.

I have the stock j pipe that comes on the 1g and a hose that connects it to the stock pipe.

That was me.....Man, I don't get credit for anything

I didn't notice any difference between spool times with the stock UICP and the RRE UICP. Easy install and great gains. I highly recommend their pipe because of it's excellent fitment and construction.

Re: My darn car..

Thanks you do you have any of the exhaust housing. Also what size is the tdo4 turbo? Did it come off of an auto or standard. Would that be a 13g? It looks the same size as the 14b

Re: My darn car..

ok I know that its either a 13g or a 15g. My question is could i use the tdo5h housing instead of the tdo4hl housing on the turbo. Also i read in other places that that turbo wont just bolt up without some changes to things.

Re: My darn car..

I'll post the exhaust manifold tomorrow. I had work tonight and I'm way tired and sick. As far as compatibility goes, I hope you're asking somebody else because I have NO CLUE. Hope you get things figured out though.
