I never said I was an expert. I figured someone who actually worked at RadioShack might have an idea about how they operate. Thanks for the suggestion as well. I'll keep it in mind.

The job itself is pretty cool when it's dead (I had keys and an alarm code, so I would open/close and run the store on the manager's day off -- pretty much everything an Assistant Manager did, except withouthg the perks ) Anywho, if you like gadgets, it's fun -- pay really does depend on location though. Strip malls, meh. Not as good as shopping malls or choice locations in areas where there are no shopping malls. It sucks pay wise though, unless you're good at selling things to people, which was hard for me, because I had no trouble helping them with what they wanted -- but when it came time to badger them with the benefits of a Verizon cell phone or talk up a DirecTV system, I got owned. Plus the location we were in was a tough one (in a strip mall 10 minutes from a shopping mall.) Myself and numerous others told the DM it was a tough place to sell out of, but I don't think he really bought it. Anyways, a year later and what do you know, I go back in there for something and and it's turned into a Y store (slightly above minimum wage, w/spiffs, but no commision opportunity.) That's usually the case with stores in difficult spots. Oh yeah, and the other sucky part is when you sell some $200 RC car to a guy, WITH the accessories And the bastard comes back 3 days later to return it, saying his kid got one of those gas powered ones or something. BAM! Pure BS, and youre $250 in the hole sales wise. Of course, if pay isn't that important to you (you're still in HS or something) or you can manage to do OK, it's a pretty good place to get experience, particularly if you're going into technology-based fields. Plus the employee discount's pretty sweet

1. I am not sure what queerdo means, so you might want to get a better insult. Try "queerbait", for instance.

2. Look up the word 'stalker'. Note that nothing lamehonda is doing makes him a stalker, therefore he is not a stalker.

3. You AREN'T an expert in english. You probably aren't even an expert in your native language. English is MY native language, and I am not an expert in it. An expert in english would be, perhaps, the professor of linguistics at MIT. Need further evidence of your not being am expert in english? See #2.

3kgt222, we don't care if you can't speak perfect english, or even great english. A lot of members on here come from countries where English is not the Native language. The first post in the thread would be very hard to understand if we didn't already basically know what he was asking. If you want to work somewhere, it is essential that you can spell the name of the business.

I work at the radioshack here, we sell more hunting stuff and fishing stuff than anything else:P and I make $7.50 an hour

I have a friend who has been working at the shack for a long time. He's made over 900$ on paychecks many times.
