HaHa I was thinking the same thing Parish's truck is sick. I can't wait till he gets off LS1edit for timing and uses the Megasquirt and Ford EDIS for timing next.

Looks great though!! What cubes? I spy stock valvesprings, so I am assuming stock valvetrain.
The setup is mounted on the old motor to check clearances(That's actually just a 4.8L ). His new motor will be arriving shortly. It was built by the builders and to the specs of Harlan's fbody engine. This truck is going heads up against Parish at the Thunder Shootout, and I know who my money is on. This will be on a single cab/stepside 2wd. I think Parish is going to have his hands full this year for sure.

I'm not sure on the specs of the injectors(probably 43lbs). This setup should have no problem hitting the 1000 horepower mark spitting enough through that direct port setup.

His old N/A setup went 11.6, but with two power adders and the best engine money can buy....who knows what this thing is going to do.

I will have as many vids possible after November 5-6, because this will most likely be the debut of the beast.

ptshhh, wont touch my type-R stickers...

1000hp + 4500lbs = 4.5 lbs per hp... is he looking to play with McClarins and what not? or is he just insane?
what tranny will be bolted to that thing...and what rear end... and what tires... it will take some stickey shit to keep that under wraps without adding some balast in the rear.

That's a good question, he's not going to use the stock 4L80E is he? We have problems with those busting to hell when the engine is stock, let alone a power adder like that.

I WANT VIDS!!!!!!

And those injectors will have to be MUCH larger than #42. You can only get to about 550 RWHP boosted with #42 injectors. Little more with N/A applications.

I WANT VIDS!!!!

I'm sure they are much larger than 43lbs, but I haven't heard him say what size they were. I absolutely will have vids up after the first outing of the beast.
Tranny unsure of, but a 4l60e or 4l80e isn't going to do it...that's for sure. Most people making big power go with the TH400 and Ford 9" rearend, so I'm pretty sure he'll have a similar setup. When he spills the beans on those...I'll post it up here.

This is going to be one stout ass truck(although not likely it will be driven on the street much). The guy already has several toys...including a Dodge Viper, Corvette, and several drag bikes. This is just his track toy.

As soon as it hits the track....I'll get you guys in on the action.

He's keeping the details pretty locked up. He really wants that top spot, and its going to take 9s to do it. On a side note... Congrats to Parish for winning Drag Week with a 10.08. He's getting a cover shot on Hot Rod magazine. These guys are really going to duke it out at the shootout.

BTW....this is how a real 9/10 second race vehicle gets "trailered" to the track.
