Re: Looks like I'm not the only one...

140 for along period of time nothing?
how many here have been to 140mph? i have, its not the most comfertable thing in the world...even riding...
I recently got a HUGE assed ticket, well really the cop only wrote it for 85 in a 70 but it could have been a HUGE ass ticket, trying to get home at 1:00am in the Scion xB...105mph was twitchy... i dont know what thoes xB's are limited to but it still had some skat in it...till i saw the lights behind me...damn it... hand cuffs hurt... but what was BS was that there where Semi's in the rear view that wernt fading away...meaning they where running 95 easy... but anyway...good vid post...the guys are still stupid...140 sustained in an SUV is crazy, german engineered or not.

Re: Looks like I'm not the only one...

It proved three things:
A. my car is as fast as a WRX
B. ML55s handle pretty good at a buck 40
C. The guys in the Subie were crazy ass motherfuckers for trying to draft off the ML

there is a big difference taking a long time getting to 140mph and being able to hit 140mph quickly. when your car lacks power and its gettin up there very slowly, your traveling a much faster average speed over a longer stretch of road. the wrx is probrably modded so it hit that at a decent speed, also the main difference is how well the car is designed to handle those speeds. when my car was bone stock, 120mph felt scary as hell and took a long long long ass time to get. now i can get to 120mph decently quick and i wouldn't even realize i hit that speed and the car just corners alot better. i've taken my girl friend to 110 mph on a quick spurt, and slow down right away. she had no idea we hit that speed cause it felt like we were only going 90mph, and the time it took for me to get there.

also speeding for my friends is not an issue because they got badges of a very very very very high ranked police official so the cops always lets them go.

Yea same here.lol I did that one night with a dude in a Camaro SS(looked 00ish) with mods. Except with my weaksauce suspension setup, it was like slow to 120 for turns, then back to 145-150, slow for turns, ect ect. Still fun and the SS guy was pretty shocked that I kept up.haha. He killed me on the twisties, then I caught right back up to him on the straights.

Re: Looks like I'm not the only one...

Evos and WRX's don't do well from a roll stock. I'm sure your car, Streetracer, would beat a WRX from a roll, so long as it is stock. Of course it's really easy to mod one though, so good luck finding one that is stock.

Re: Looks like I'm not the only one...

LOL, there was a dude at the track last time I went doing like 2.0 60' in a what looked like I/E WRX... That is what I do for a 60' with my shitty tires adn open differential. He seriously needed launch counseling... Was trapping 94mph...

Re: Looks like I'm not the only one...

94 mph is about average for a stock WRX...and 2 even isn't THAT bad...I mean it does have AWD...but you also have to realize that you probably are some 60 to 80 whp up on a WRX too...
