that's just stupid.. don't get met wrong i know the type r is made for high revvin but that's just dumb.. just put it in 4th and keep goin...
and ya know the more i think about it, i just don't seem to care about the 1/4 mile for some reason.. i know everyone is all hey i can pull 13's and what not but for some reason it just doesn't appeal to me.. i mean i love tearin through the gears, and i like racing and stuff, but i'm just out there to have fun not to get down to 14's .. it just seems that everyone is time happy these days.. everyone keeps runnin their mouth ... oh i can run 13's with this sucka.. oh yeah , and what happens when there's a corner coming up .. ... racing to me involves turns, and inclines, and stuff, if your just runnin the 1/4 it's draggin to me.. again don't get me wrong i love to watch .. but i watch to check out the cars not see who can break 14.. i don't know maybe i'm just a pessamistic asshole today but i don't see why everyone is so hyped up on how fast they can drive a 1/4 in a stright line..

I LOVE autocrossing.

No doubt on what you said, bro. For one, the S2000 is an autocrossing car. And the Type R is an autocrossing car too. Dragging is for Cobra's and stuff.

Why do you think I plan on putting the H22 in an Integra? I want better weight distribution so I can corner better. I mean if all I cared about was dragging, I'd get a CRX and drop a B18C in it, turbo it, and go get myself killed.

so i can have 2/3 of the yellow vtec heaven , then all i need is a yellow nsx.. down the road of course.. but i'll take a type r and an s2000 i'd be more than happy with that ...
anyway yeah i like autocross too... in fact i wish i knew of some more places around i could go watch some races...
i was never really into shows or races but i would like start checkin them out now that i am here..

Go to the Laguna Seca, that's a really good track. It's in Gran Turismo, it's the track with that crazy hairpin turn. For a certain fee, you can run 3 times on the track and if you bring a friend, and you both pay the fee, you can run against each other, but you have to sign some sort of release saying that if you crash or something, they can't be held liable.

Either that or you have to pay 500.00$ to go to an Autocrossing school for like a week or so so you can get an autocrossing license.

and as i pass one the other drops it so i don't catch them.. god forbid...
so i toss it down and put a little gas on it.. and i swerve round a few cars, and then he's behind me and tryin to follow..... so i fake left.. i know it sounds dumb.. then i take off in the brake down lane. and pass 3 cars, then hop back on the freeway.. and needless to say he was out of sight at that point...
i wasn't trying too hard or anything but when i looked down i was only doin like 115, so i guess i didn't have to try... oh well
it was fun anyway
silly mustangs, vtec is for hondas...
you my friend, are a total idiot for racing like that with traffic around...especially going onto the break down lane (emergency lane) i bet you feel really proud of yourself

it wasn't a race it was some lame dude in a stang trying to keep up, and i am not proud of my street racing past.. but i don't drive wrecklessly.. during that whole encounter not once did i cut anyone off or come within 5 ft of another car other than on the sides, and the emergency brake down lane is wide and empty.. so instead of moving back towards traffic to speed along, i would almost think it's safer to put myself against a rail than another car.. anwyay no one was hurt, no honks or squeels or anything.. sorry if my driving bothers you.. and i'm not proud of the way i drive sometimes.. but just cause i post the story hear doesn't mean i'm proud to speed in traffic, it's a story.. and the forum says beat any mustangs today , and i did... so.. but for the love of god man i don't think i'm a bad ass or anything it just so happens i juse the breakdown lane once, and your on my back .. sorry man .. i really am i'll try to not post things that offend you..

newer stangs (99+) are actually quite capable on a road couse.
99+ gts can get into the 13s with an exceptional driver
I forgot who said it and it was probably a bit different, but

Actualy, ALL real cobras are excellent curve carvers. The Gt is more straight line orienated. If you had raced the GT from a stop, he would have given you a run for your money. The 13.8 1/4 time quoted by road and track magazine for the s2000, is very hard to achieve unless you are a pro driver willing to drop the clutch at 9k rpm. By the way do you have any mods on your s2000? I have a friend who has a s2000 and talks smack all the time. But, he refuses to race me I have driven it a few times, their pretty nice little cars.

Talking

you sir, are a liar and a fag! I have spanked a couple s2000's just recently. Don't underestimate a highly modded 5.0. And by the way......Vtec is highly over-rated

You sir are a troll....please don't let this happen again...no need to bring up a post where the last response was in July. Thank you.

thanx inferno..
and to answer the question it's a stock s2k.. and yes it's a fun little car.. and yes i agree that a modded 5.0 is dangerous... but so is a modded s2k.. it's all relative.. and it vtec was so overrated than explain to me why so many companies have made their own version of it.. ???

An 87 - 93 5.0 would be VERY hard pressed to see a mid 14 STOCK, and I personally have never seen it done. As 94+ GTs usually only manage a mid-14 stock(although I have seen better, mid 14s are the norm). A brand new Cobra sees mid 12s consistently, who said anything about a 13.2??
