I hopefully will own my own Honda soon, but i just dont know when. Im not wealthy like you lot!

What car would you all recommend me too? I probably could only spend like 10 grand. Or if i can get my parents to pay some, probably 15-18 grand.
What do u guys think of a:

Honda Prelude (93-97)
Honda Civic (92-95)
Honda Integra (95 model or something)
Toyota MR2
Toyota Celica (i think the 94-95 model)
Nissan Pulsar GTiR
Nissan Siliva S13
Nissan 180SX

Any suggestions? il probably be on twice every week or something, because i got alot of study to do, so dont get upset if i dont reply on time yeah?
My recommendation...keep in mind.... can you afford the insurance!!

for 10...you are pushing it with the prelude and integra... you may only get a GSI for that price.

steer clear of imports unless you can afford the insurance.

You could pick up a '90 CRX for ten grand. Otherwise go for a 2G 'teg or '90 Si 4WS 'lude.

Forget the Silvia and 180SX if you want to insure it, it can't be done. I looked at insurance on one (I am really tempted by a S13 at the moment as I can't afford a Jensen Interceptor ATM) and it's bloody expensive - and I have a few years on you

Hiya. I'm Grant, 17 from NW Sydney. Current transport consists of bumming lifts in an automotic Pulsar (:finger: Tristan). 4th gen Civic GL soon. And Q, you won't even get a GSi for 10. More like 14 starting at.

Tuan,

If you don't mind the LS shape integra... I had a friend who had a project car, and I don't know if he's sold it yet....

basically needed rego, painting... but has B16a conversion, bodykit...just needs finishing touches. Last he said he was trying to sell it for 10, but I haven't spoken to him for a while. Its probably still sitting in his workshop.

I can't believe Hondas are so damn pricey. Much as I hate to say it, rather than pay 13 grand on a GSI, I'd be spending it on an imported S13 or 180SX or any number of cars that are infinitely better than the GSI. 13 for a VTiR possibly but not a snail's 'teg (and yes, I do know you can't get a VTiR for that price )

this is so addictive, like andy said. Tried to do research for an assessment and i end up in here.

Hey Quyen and Oz, are you serious? damn, i love the looks of those integras. And about the prelude, i saw one for 12 grand. is that cheap?
About the LS Shape, i don't like the looks of it. But thanks anyways Quyen!

And about the Imports Setanta, damn! i want S13 too.

Oh, and Eric! Damn your car is fast!!!

Tannee, what are you planning to get next?

Do you have meet ups and stuff?

Oh and to all that i havent mention, sorry.
So, i think i should go and do my assessment now, god, i feel that i have to sit here on this forum and wait for all your replys!

looks like your attempt failed

yeah the teg is nice...but still holds its value. with the prelude...depends on the shape, and the condition... a lot of people write "A1 condition" and you go see it and it is crap...

tannee...has to learn to drive manual...before he buys anything j/k

we've had 1 meet.... a lot of the guys got caught up, but Setanta and I are going to be at the Performance Dyno Day, and probably go for a drive afterwards. Your welcome to come.
