Remove the two ECM fuses. Turn the key to off. Unplug the battery negative post. Wait 30 minutes. Reconnect battery cable, reinsert fuses and everything will be reset.

Re: blazer egr question
Thanks for clearing that up because i was not sure how many ECM fuses there were and what cables to remove i just always remove the battery and wait till it clears. What about the one with unplugging it overnight?Does that deal with just fuses?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: blazer egr question
Ford yes(2002 F150. Jeep? got 3, Harley 1, Honda MC 4. I love any thing that goes. But every chevy from 69 chevelle to 96 blazer I have ever owned has been constant problem. My brother is chevy man, even he is having trouble with this one
Girlfriend bought from her son for $800 (doing him a favor) needs head gasket. After head gasket and top end work($1000) runs like crap find 3 spun bearings. Junk yard motor with 90k $550 plus bearings and gaskets(yea it was junk too) misc mounts and accessories the price is now $3800. The motor wants to jump out of the rig when you start it, but then it runs fine. other than the check engine light. trying to get it going good enough to sell for what she's got into it. I doubt I will become a GM lover over this one Thanks again |
