Re: Leave of Abscence

(!#$@!) manager is such a (!#$@!) dipshit. I dont get pissed often but when it comes to my life, and my families life I'll (!#$@!) kill someone when they're endangered. There have been dozens of tornados in our area and two within 3 miles of where I work and another headed for our house.

My Mom and brother were waitin' to pick me up outside since I dont have a car right now. Company policy is nobody can leave the store until manager is closed out. There was a tornado half mile from where I work, and another about 2 miles that had touched down. I told the manager I was leaving. Stupid ***** said "Wait a few minutes"...I asked how long, he said a little longer. I told him I'm leaving, I'm not getting caught in this mess. He said that he's writing me up for disobeying company policy and that I my job will be terminated. I told him that I didnt care, my life and my families were more important than a little rule.

I clocked out, left and told my mom that I was fired. So we're writing corporate a letter, my boss (who does like me too) a letter, and phone calls to both.

Stupid (!#$@!) asshole assistant manager that aint worth the (!#@!) he craps tries to threaten me. The asshole has had a grudge against me from day one because I'm young. Stupid (!#$@!) trying to tell me when I can risk my life and when I cant.

Dumbshit hope he gets caught in his 80's rusted minivan and thrown across town.

I feel better now.

Oh No! I just read your other thread for the 80's comp. When you get back home PM me and I'll send you some kits I've got lying around to help you get started up again?

Re: Leave of Abscence

So sorry to hear that. I was hoping this wouldn't happen to you. If it's any consolation, there's a good chance your cats are around somewhere, they're pretty smart creatures and know when to get the hell outta dodge...

Re: Re: Leave of Abscence

Our thoughts are with you and everyone else who have been affected by the storm down south. Stay safe and take care of your family. Models can wait, and when the time comes I'm sure a bunch of us will be willing to help boost up your inventory. We'll be awaiting your return.

That's really terrible man. It's trivial now, but I've got some stuff to send when you get back on your feet.

Re: Leave of Abscence

Hope you have home insurance. Although model kits are mostly plastic parts, they could be used again right? Maybe only the instructions and decals are useless but can be replaced. Hope your life gets better.
