Re: Love the car, worried about gas!

i set the trip every time i fill up, my fuel guage tends to stick sometimes so i don't trust it.

Re: Love the car, worried about gas!

I guess my fuel guage is fairly accurate or at least it hasn't put me unexpectedly to walking to a gas station with a milk jug (yet) *knock on wood*

I've got a 94 Z with the LT1 and a M6 and on the highway cruising at 80+ i usually get around 25-27 mpg of course with the 6 speed im only sitting at 2000 rpm at 80 so that helps

unless your heart is set on the IROC-Z I would highly recommend an LS1 4th gen, more power, less gas, but expect to pay for it in insurance (ESPECIALLY if you're under 25)

Re: Love the car, worried about gas!

Damn viper, for a minute i was thinking the samething, good thing you ain't banned. 88, burnouts and heavy foots is where it's at, my car barely gets above half a tank, it's very sad, but i fun.

my dad's 2004 corvette gets better gas mileage than I got when I drove a 95 Nissan Sentra 4cyl. Plus it has a little gauge so you can tell how much your getting. I got it up to 44 mpg!!! I was going around 10 mph...
