i didnt say that they couldent be made powerful. i was just sayin more then likely it would be a bigger engine.

302 or 351 seems most likely to me... but who knows they could have stuck a 427 in it... who knows

shouldnt there be a actual size diffrence in a 351 and 427, any wya i can get an idea by just looking at the engines size?

Pictures would be nice but im poor and have no digital camera.

Anyone have a view example pictures?

well i believe a 351 is a small block and a 427 and engines up in that size range are big blocks... as far as pics go, try searching google maybe, im not sure what to tell u for those

for what car? and most of the time on old muscle cars engines the cubic inch is writin on the air intake.

Well its a 92 stang but its not the stock engine, so im trying to find out what it actually has in it, but you say on the air intake, i may sound noob but yea i think i know where that is. So im gonna check after work

i was talkin about thestang00 and i was askin him wat car has a 351 small block. and muscle car engines(meaning old cars) have a air intake on the very top of the engine that is a metal circle.

what are you talking about? we dont know what his car has, he was asking if theres an actual size difference between engines, i responded to that. im sure you know some cars that had the 351 just as well as i do... early 70's stangs and whatnot. plus i said i believe its a small block... meaning im not positive.

i was saying if he has a engine from the 60's or 70's ect. that they have the displacment writin on the air intake. but thats only with old engines. and i think 351 was the big block for a mustang. and yea i messes up on what i was trying to write. i was changing what i was trying to say and messed up the whole post.

Is the distrib in the front, then its a Ford.

Measure the width of the block, 351w are slightly wider than a 302. My money would be its a 302.
