Very nice color! Did you mix it?

Well, the base color was tamiya TS-51 telefonica blue. But the green pearl was added to the clear coat to result in that color that you see. Then a final coat of Testor's acrylic clear was added. So I guess its a 3 stage paint job including the clear. The car looks greenish silver in direct sunlight - the blue dissappears. Thanks for the comments guys.

Hey guys, I got the turbo manifold and turbo/compressor built and mock fit onto engine. Gonna make the wastegate later. What do you think? Took and hour to scratch build. Here's a pic.

What is GJ? For your question I used sheet styrene for the manifold baseplate and styrene tubing for the exhaust tubing and used a pair of tiny needle nosed pliers to bend and shape, then used Tenax-7R plastic welder to attach all pieces. turbo and compressor are made from heated tubing and the inlet on turbo is made from larger diameter tubing. I can't explain this very well- I just build it. I'll show some finished pics in a few days. Give it a try. Its not hard-just a little creativity and a will to finish. It takes practice. Good luck !!

The stuff that I use is from Evergreen scale models. I think they mainly make stuff for architects that build model buildings. They've got Diamond plating for trucks to brick and all sorts of textured surfaces. You should be able to find styrene scratchbuilding supplies at any well stocked hobby shop that specializes in plastic models.
