Re: The ideal plan...
I wouldn't bother with the swap. Just get a TT, man! You know you wanna!
I personally love S14s...not a huge S13 fan. Tried to buy an S14 SE but they wouldn't finance me (even with my dad co-signing!) cuz I had another car at the time...how stupid is that shit? I think you'd be much happier just getting a TT, man. What do you do for a living? 15/hr isn't too shabby...

First thing is first: Headers, TP's and GReddy SP2 exhaust. Then ASH-Spec ECU and HKS Super AFR! MOTUL 300V 10W40 High RPM 100% Ester Synthetic Racing Oil. Dyno-Tune!!! Secondly: UD Pulley, E-fan/Upgraded NA Radiator, 1-Pc Driveshaft, AT rebuild and Hi-stall Torque Convertor. AT cooler. Third: Nitrous 70-Shot, TT injectors (requires another ECU upgrade) and JWT Mild 100 Cams. In between all this: KYB AGX shocks, Eibach Springs, Sub-frame spacers, Bucket seats, Mild Roll Cage, JUN or ESCORT hood, Veilside C-2 wing, WELD racing wheels, Semi-Slick tires, HKS Twin Power Ignition and '99 J-Spec Tail-lights. Weight-loss Progarm! Goal: Beat Z1's Naturally-Aspirated (VG30DE powered) Nitrous Street record of 12.81@100mph in the 1/4 mile! Stillen headers JWT intake HKS Hiper exhaust Z1 Testpipes Z1 ecu upgrade 60shot of Nos RPS flywheel and stock clutch Z1 onepiece DS GD subframe spacers UR pulley set Of course with my 2+2 I'm at a weight disadvantage. After it's all said and done I want to buy a TT. At this point I don't know if I will sell the 2+2 or not.

i still say skip all that jazz...by the time you spent all that money you could have bought a TT and had it more than half-way paid off with enough mods to run in the 12's all day long without nitrous. think about it...with that list your talking many thousands of dollars. thats alot of money saved each and every month. instead of spending it on mods for the N/A only to get a TT in the future. just take out another loan and use $250 of that left over money a month on the car payment. there...now you have your 2 Z's and you have a few decisions. sell the N/A and buy a DD car, keep the N/A and use it as a DD car and mod the TT, keep the TT and use it as a DD car and mod the N/A, mod them both at a slower pace, or sell the N/A and use the TT as your all-a-round car. come on George...your not making any sense. pull your head out of your A** and think logically. just kiddin buddy

Re: The ideal plan...
just mod the suspension, and dont mess with the engine. getting the N/A to go fast straight-line takes too much work becuase it isn't made to go straight-line. so do a few suspension mods so you can be doing something and cure that mod bug. then after a year or two, buy a TT and you could either sell the N/A or make the N/A your track car. there, problem solved. by the way, thats my plan.
