Re: high-speed ticket

My worst is racing 138 in a 55 construction zone. Spent a couple days in the slam for that one, and my insurance is still almost $500 a month for a four door 130 hp (stock ) economy car.

He said sir you were driving recklessly and way over the limit. Anyway it's supposed to be 50 dollars for the first 10 mph over the limit. I was going 3mph over the limit and he gave me a 200 dollar fine and my insurance went up 4 points. I said this is bullshit. So I went to court to try to fight it. The cop who stopped me showed up. He said to the judge I was being fair I could have givin him alot more. He lied and said I was driving to endanger, I wasn't wearing a seatbelt, I didn't have 2 hands on the steering wheel, I was weaving all over the road, my lights were on in the daytime, The list went on and on with complete nonsense. The judge said the cop was being more than fair. But he didn't list that on the ticket, it just said speeding 200 dollars. It should have said speeding 50 dollars. seatbelt 25 dollars. Well anyway the judge sided with the cop. So I had to pay 200 dollars and my insurance went up 4 points. Imagine that I had a perfect driving record I was a step 9 for 10 years. For going 3 mph over the limit. thats just ridiculous. I'd like people's input on this.
That's absolute bull.

I've done peelouts and donuts in public areas, raced at 100+ MPH, went well over twice the speed limit (freeways included), ran countless stop signs/red lights (None of it was on purpose. I was either going too fast to stop for a yellow light which turned red, or I couldn't see the stop sign.), etc. Basically I've violated almost every traffic law in the book on more than one occasion, and all I've ever been pulled over for is a busted brake light. My insurance is about $65/month, record is very clean, and my parents are really trusting of me.

I feel evil.

Got about 6 speeding tickets in past 10 years, worse one so far was for 92mph in 55mph zone. Changed insurance companies few times and spent decent coin on fines. So that's in the past. At this time, I am scheduled for a trial on 100+mph ticket, with road racing, reckless driving etc. as an added "bonus". Of course, those are all malicious allegations. Got a lawyer, will fight it.

On my bike once, I flew by the cop with the radar gun, my speedo was at 151 mph (see picture as a permanent reminder - onboard computer stores last fastest run). Got lucky that time, I guess the cop didn't bother chasing me with his Crown Vic.
