Thank you BlackGT.
That was exactly my point and you responded exactly as I would have. To add, like I said, all my family has owned over the years are Chrysler products. That makes for a hell of a lot more than three cars so I would say my experience with Chrysler products far outweighs yours or your fathers. Also, like I told you, we have had VERY few problems that weren't caused because of human error. In fact my other 1989 LeBaron GTC had 152,000 miles on when it was totaled. The only problems it ever had was a snapped timing belt at 112,000, and unlike most European and Japanese manufactures it won't destroy your valve train if that happens. It also blew a head gasket at 146,000 miles. The car is turbo-charged from the factory, runs about 14 PSI of boost, and it had an aluminum head and a cast iron block. According to the factory my stupid ass should have replaced the timing belt at 75,000 and the head gasket at 100,000. I don't care who makes the car those are about right. Also any turbo-charged car will go through head gaskets, especially one with a bi-metal engine.
Even with 152,000 miles on it and it had no problems blowing the doors off cars it had no business even racing. It ran just as good as the day I bought it. That can be said for every other Chrysler product my family has owned. The same can be said for Chevy and Ford. That is why I say your dad isn't maintaining them correctly. I would love to hear what problems you've had with those three vehicles.
Also, ludespeed501, I suggest you refrain from name calling.
