hmm, maybe it is partially due to the drums? I know with the drums, brake force distribution is like 70/30, and with the Si and its proportioning valve the distribution is 60/40. Im not sure if these numbers are totally accurate, but I do know for sure that the stock EX setup relies heavier on the front brakes than an Si. I wonder if this alone would cause such drastic pad wear, especially if you aren't riding them hard. I would make sure that everything is ok with your brakes and that the calipers aren't siezing up on you (like my old ones did ). How are your OEM replacements doing so far? Did your old OEM's (the ones the AEM pads replaced) look worn in an unusual pattern?

the old OEM pads looked fine, and i only took them out to put the AEM ones in. i'll see how the OEM pads i have now last and then i'll figure it out.
