I just might take you up on that. I'll give it a shot myself first, as its something I've wanted to learn anyways, and if I just can't pull it off I'll have the spare...

So, is this a hard kit to build? Where can I find CF and what all will I need to make it work? Are there any tricks? Anything I need to watch out for? I'll be printing out every single "progress" thread I can find on this kit, hope yall don't mind.

He owns an oil company. That's all I know.

I do know he has something like a 1:12 scale model of the McLaren, that McLaren gave him. I've never seen it, though.

Re: Oh help me for I am terrified

Allright, cool.
About the cf, everything you need is decal softener, decal fastener a brush to poke the cf when it is soft into
egdes and so. after that youll need clear (tamiya x22, ONLY!) to cover the decals so they dont scratch and come off. I would recommend you to buy cf from either SAS or SMS, since the cf that is included in the enzo kit is really dark and has really weird texture. ( i did this kit some time ago and failed bigtime, and that is like very big :P still i am a rookie and i was too confident)

Try Cobra Colors (www.cobracolors.com) for factory Lambo colors. They also have Ferrari, Porsche etc. factory matched paint.

Well, if you're giving them $1,000,000 for a car, it's the least they can do!

screw the enzo, ask to ride/drive the mclaren!!!! and ask if a friend can go lol. im sure that your skills are up to it. just take a deep breath, approach hiim and say, i'll do it, but you only pay if you are satisfied.

Pretty sure the McLaren is down in College Station. Wouldn't mind the trip, but I'd be going into THIER territory. *shudders*

Having said that, my Enzo and SMS kit have been sitting in my workshop for 7 months now waiting for me to pluck up courage - maybe my problem is that nobody wants to PAY me to do it Hmm have to think about that....

Cool... Tell him you want a full track day with his enzo, and you will then build his car in scale model form for him..

I've got the enzo kit to build.. I took a look in the box, a few time now, and just put it away.. It has to be the most complicated kit I've ever looked at.. I'm sure it's not that bad, but it looks it from the start..

Good luck though..
