its not that im having a traction problem at all, its more style than performance.so 9.5 is the biggest i should consider?

and for tires go with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 they have like the best dry / wet traction + tread life is great.

89IROC&RS appears to love these tires, they are about 200 bucks a tire, it depends on profile, width, and diamater...

bigger tires have more rolling resistance, will hurt gas mileage. id run the narrowest tire you could without loosing performance and get the best of both worlds.
