they come in black like above, or silver with carbon fiber middle...

just to let everyone know... these knobs use that push style instead of a button. and the guy said it would be about 42 bucks each plus shipping...
indeed they are expensive, but no one else has em this cheap.

i'll get his email address when i get home from work.

man, thats really tight, and I would love one, but its still just too expensive. The other one is $20, can't he come down some more? I'm not saying that $42 isn't a good deal, but its still too high. If you can't get him down anymore, I'll have to second-thought it. Sorry I didn't email you, but my email been acting funny...

hey, just for comparison, how much would a new regular auto shift knob cost? Like if I was to just switch out my stock knob with an exact replica, only new?

guy in this thread said so:

s THIS the look you are going for? I have an auto tranny, I got a silver/gray shift boot, and that cool Type-R style (I'd prefer it not say it on the knob) knob for auto trannies, and viola, I got what you see in the pic in the link I put. I didn't do it to fool people into thinking I have a 5-speed, I did it because I'm trying to make my car into show car quality and I thought this look is astheticly pleasing to the eye, different, and cool. The knob at least when I got it was $20 plus shipping (not for me since I drove to their store and bought it ) but it's pretty reasonable. The knob works by the ENTIRE knob piece pushes down around the shaft of it. It's really neat. If you go to www.groupbuycenter.com there's a guy named "Futangklan" that sells the nice thick quality shift boot that I put on. Good luck with it!

I just went to Autodynamic.com and they have a chrome and a gunmetal type-R shift knobs for $19.95 sale right now. Unfortunately they only take credit card and paypal, no money order. So I have to get my dad's ok before I get it. Good luck on that, lol.

If you can't find autodynamic, run a yahoo search for "automatic transmission shift knob".

Just unscrew and lift up your center floor console, remove your shift knob, then slip the boot over your shifter shaft, and put your console back together making sure you have it holding the bottom of the boot down, under it, and screw everything back together. Good luck with it.
