Re: Ferrari customer demands refund

Sif a brand new motor that hasn't been run in is going to perform as well as one that's had some exercise.

Not approving or disapproving sports cars, I was suggesting he could have found better value for money elsewhere.

I don't like SUVs for safety issues first, other negative's after.

Blindside, you really are blind.

Re: Ferrari customer demands refund

BMW 850CSi can reach 186 easily, stock. That would be my car.

THe stock E55 AMG ungoverned can even reach 186 easily, it can reach 191 mph in a heart beat.

I'm blind because I can't read your mind? The only time I've ever read your opinions on SUV's is when you're badmouthing someone who just bought one and starts a thread about it. Learn to express your thoughts more efficiently next time. Thanks.

There is no R35 GTR and will never be; the R Chassis died with the R34. The new GTR (Not yet released and likely to top US$75,000 when released) will ride on the V Chassis. A GTR doesn't reperesent better buying either IMHO, anyone who buys one brand new is paying far too much for a Nissan, nor can a GTR give the sheer thrills of an MR Ferrari. I suppose, however, if you only mod a car for numbers then you are correct.

The German guy is a twit, perhaps he should get a clue about engineering before buying what is the pinnacle of Automotive engineering (Before the F430 and Enzo came along).

You got a link on how it gets ungoverened?? I'm curious as to the lengths that it takes to get a Merc to ignore it's speed limiter.

Thanks for the link. But I'm looking for a more technical explanation of how they bypass all the speed limiters. All I got from the posts was that they sent their ECU's out to get reprogrammed.

Re: Ferrari customer demands refund

I take that back about taht being my alst off topic post....

I think it needs to be reprogrammed....It maybe too vital to take out of the car for it may hold other information for the car. I don't know, I'm just assuming from what I read. They "flash" the chip or in other words, reformat it. They delete the current info on the card, then add similar information but different values I guess.

Yeah, I figured that. I'm a Mercedes technician in case you didn't know. That's why I'm looking for a more detailed explanation.
