If I pay it I lose my license for 2 months and then when I get it back I have to have 2 years of error-proof driving before I can get rid of my "N". In Canada, all young drivers have 2 years with their "N" license. First time around, you can get one ticket. Second one, you lose your license for two months, and then you have to go back to the beginning of the 2 year period, only the second time around you can't get any tickets.

If this was just about the money I wouldn't care...100 bucks isn't going to make or break my bank account. But if I get this ticket, I will lose my license for the summer, which will SUCK.

agreed, but your chances of getting out of it are slim. All I can say is, you shouldn't have been speeding. I'm not saying that to be a jerk either. I've been there and done all that, and learned the hard way. That's why I don't screw around while driving, it's not worth it to me.

meh, if im speeding and get pulled over, i pay it. and believe me i pay the concequences, allstate wont even insure me lol. but that does suck about the old lady driver. I was furious when i got T-boned by a lincoln going home, climbed out through the T-tops ready to rip someones head off. got to the lincoln, it was a terrified old asian woman, and i just didnt have any fight left in me. thankfully she took full responsibility and i didnt have to put up a fight to get it paid for for repairs. I agree that people should be required to take a driving test to keep their licence on a regular basis. Too many old people can still pass the written test when they are extremely dangerous on the roads. If you pass the driving test, you keep your licence, fail the driving test, and its gone. its only fair.

It would be a pain in the ass but I think I agree. I saw some stat that 1/10 people or something would fail their drivers test if they had to take it again.

id probly fail the written test cuz of questions like, how many feet do you park from a dog peeing on a pedestrian. and stuff like that.

damn man u just got that car that sucks ass....i guess u are gonna have to drive slow for the next year or so dont wanna risk being able to drive. as for beating the ticket dont count on the cop not showing up 2 court because they love going to court, its like a break ,easy day. hell i use to love court days.....nobody spiting on you, dodnt have to deal with all the crazy bastards its just layed back. it sucks man but just slow her down...damn as a matter of fact i owe the state of fl 200 bucks for a speeding ticket, guess ill pay it 2morrow .....

join the military, I've gotten out of a few tickets or gotten a small warning or non moving violation for that And by being honest with the cop, he pulls me over and asks me if I know why I just reply yes officer, I thought you were racing me.

i was riding behind this old man in a buick in the pooring down rain a few years ago and i went to pass him and the son of a bitch just swerved right over and bleamed me in the right front 1/4 panel. the thing about it was he got ass sideways, and still didn't know he hit me. i chased him for about 1.5 miles in the pooring ass rain hydroplaining and everything. after flashing and beeping at him we finally got stopped at a redlight and i ran out in this pooring rain and knocked on his window. he about had a heart attack. but i told him he had hit me and we stopped at a gas station and called the cops. nice old man but very senile (sp?)
