Re: Aftermarket t-tops....

dosent the addition of t-top hinder your cars overall rigidity? Im happy i have a hard top because it flexes bad enough as it is and i cant imagine what it would be like with t-tops. Although for a cruizer i suppose it would be nice. I think it may of been someone on here that compared the camaro body to a sheet of 3/4" plywood. Its very strong when you try to fold it in half but its corners flex too much. But of course thats what subframes are for i guess...eh whatever t-tops are cool.

Yeah, my car isn't exactly going to be a 700 rwhp drag beast, so I want t-tops for crusin'.

Re: Re: Aftermarket t-tops....

Yeah, it does make the body flex a little bit more.. but seeing as in how I've only got a V6, I figure I won't ever make enough power to where I'll have to worry about that

Re: Aftermarket t-tops....

Lol, yeah. Look at it this way, the vert f-bodies have the smelliest part of the stick, no roof support at all.

Re: Aftermarket t-tops....

with subframe connectors, strut tower brace, and a four point roll cage, the loss of ridgedy to the t-tops would be a non issue.
