Re: I want my baby back, baby back, baby back..

No, the 00Si pump was quite a bit different.

From what I'm reading, the GSR pump has 22 teeth. Most all of the Honda ones I looked at had 19 teeth.

Re: I want my baby back, baby back, baby back..

Hmm.. We'll see tommorow I guess. I ordered the 95 GSR pump from a picture a guy posted of his on honda-tech, it was the EXACT same. I dunno if all GSR pumps are the same or what, but his looked identical to what I need.

We'll see.. I'll keep the thread updated, I'm so anxious to drive it again.
I seriously don't know how you go SOOOO long without your car.

Re: I want my baby back, baby back, baby back..

i have other cars. its not a big deal. even though i am itching for another EF to drive, since an f250 ended my other daily driver. but i got a del sol to make up for it.

speaking of waiting, i think we may be putting the last coat of urethane primer on it this weekend, and then one last blocking.

Re: I want my baby back, baby back, baby back..

SiZ, going a long time without driving your honda sucks! After I hit that deer I did my swap and drove it for like a month and then I parked it for winter, and then traded shells and got everything built how I wanted it. I had to drive my shitty ass bronco for like 5 or 6 months! I was so happy to get into a 4th gen again.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKK! !

OKAY! SO NOW THE B16A TIMING BELT IS TOO FUCKING LONG!
I'm going to do all this shit just to find out that my valves are fucked.. I can just tell.
I used the GSR pump and now I don't even know what kind of belt to use if the B16A one is too long. I want to kick someone.

Re: I want my baby back, baby back, baby back..

Great, glad to hear it worked out for ya.

Now, what the heck happened in the first place to have your car unavailable for 8 months? I'm a little confused. I try to keep up with the forum but I missed something somewhere.

Re: I want my baby back, baby back, baby back..

Skeme1, I've got a question for ya, what kind of wheels are on the car in your sig. They look good from here and want to take a closer look. Thanks.

Re: I want my baby back, baby back, baby back..

I broke the timing belt last October or so, and I figured there was no use to fix it just to drive it for another month tops, so I brought my Mazda (winter beater) out and just drove it.
I've been too poor latley to get the car out in May or so, so its been up until now for me to get it oot.

Re: I want my baby back, baby back, baby back..

Ah, ok, I got it.

I hear ya, I joined the 4th gen wrecking crew in December and have yet to get my car back on the road. I've got most of the heavy repairs done but now I'm trying to prep it for a paint job and it's taking forever! TTYL.

Re: I want my baby back, baby back, baby back..

When is N11? I'd like to go but its going to be dependant on what's happening that weekend.

Right now I need to just get this damn motor to pass an e-test wich will be the next scary job.
