I never knew there was a 160 bhp civic coupe in europe... I always liked the coupe, only the lack of power was the 'problem' for me to really like it... 160 bhp... very nice : )
Does anyone know of the first generation civic coupe (about '95) has a version with a 'real engine' ? I only know of the 1.5 (105 bhp?) and 1.6 (125 bhp?).

Well i was at honda and asked if the us Civic SI coupé was the same as the Euro Civic VTI coupé.. Its the same car only problem is that there was only sold 2 in 1999 and 1 in 2000 in norway.. so kinda hard to find..

thats a good engine and I don't know why so many americans want to swap with a B series engineI'm thinking of getting a D16Y8 engine myself. It has 125 Bhp as standard and with some mods I could have it up to 135-140 Bhp before forced induction. I'm pretty sure I could get one fairly cheap as there must be a huge amout of them in the US.
