I can see a C6 running in the mid 12's, they are as powerful as the last Z06 and they are a newer design. I don't think its anywhere close to impossible for that to run a 12. I hope the charger is lighter than the magnum because that thing is around 4000 pounds isn't it? Lots of power but geez, you can tell they are getting their genes from mercedes.

Haven't seen an SRT-8 at the track yet, only on the street and it put a couple lengths on an '04 GTO. The owner said he ran 13.2@109. Best I saw the C6 run was 13.1@108, it was an auto. I have no doubts the C6's are 12 sec cars, but it was pretty hot on Tuesday and it was an auto. But in the heat or not, a stock LS1 car is gonna have it's hands full with an SRT-8, LS2 should take it.

Re: Rice Alert!!!

a little aside to the 200hp worth of decals thing: have u guys noticed that most of the time the decals advertise companies that only make decals? hahahaha. just think about this for a sec. we're talkin about cars that weigh over 4000 pounds beatin up on LS1 GTOs in stock form. i believe the 0- 60 numbers were under 5 for the SRT, but i could be wrong. BAD360s truck is runnin under 12. a truck. those other bozos arent even in the same building as wut comes from the rear wheels of an american car. lets not argue over which V8 cars better, just use em for the same purpose. o and jump over to the thread about the GTP beatin the vette and read the last few posts.tell me wut the hell highway racing is. i always thought that was a moron driving too fast with a car that he knows nothing about. i got a 1500 silverado with a 4.8. it will do well over 100. does this mean i can "highway race" too? r any of these guys actually old enuf to drive? cuz they sound like theyre about 12.

Can you please use paragraphs?

Reading that gave me a headache, and for what? Nothing! I still don't understand what you just said.

Re: Rice Alert!!!

I know this will cause static but here it goes. Most people you call ricers are kids that have to be no older than 22 years old. A lot of them have shit for money because they mostly work at fast food joints and grocery stores, therefore, they can't get anything good besides a Civic. True, they should just leave the car alone and stop trying to mod it but I've seen Civics, Accords, and other cheap economy cars blow the doors off of higher-end models such as the SRT-4. I just say "Who cares?" Let them do what they want to do, spend the cash how they want to spend it, and kill 'em if they try to race you.

Re: Rice Alert!!!

I agree to some extent. I make fun of ricers in the same way as I make fun of a friend for getting a stupid haircut. It's just some senseless fun.

But some of you really hate them with a passion. That's just really sad.

ill assume just about any car around me is a ricer if it has some ridiculous body kit and is either primer grey, obnoxiously painted(or both), cut coils so they are .5mm fromt he ground, are driving around with two stock and two aftermarket chrome rims(with the chrome ones in the rear non-drive wheels!), have a ridiculously large fart can and are constantly revving so their car sounds like the ass the driver is, and have thousands of stickers all over the car, most or all of which they have no components from.

i have a friend with a dog-ugly older 90s nissan sentra(maybe maxima?) that is flat black, on stock wheels with no hubcaps, with some off brand upgraded tires, and a cold air intake. he knows he slow. hes cool. hell, he jokes his own car lol.

If American V8s are so bad ass, then how come they need a V8 to do what a German car can do with I6?
