It's because fridges are so small over there. With a white car, they can think they have a spare fridge in the garage.

That's the plain white F1 that I would suspect is #053.

Came across these pics the other day. Thought they were known already, but I just browsed my Mac folder and saw the F50 wasn't in on the picture. There's a blue EB110 right next to it. Very nice, I must say.
So these could be interesting too. I'm guessing same collection, different lineup. Pics are truly japanes, size wise (in contradiction to the one I started this thread with), so I panorama'ed them together, for easy up and download.

Wow -- those are wonderful too - I do wish they were bigger. Never seen them of course, so a big thanks for including them here.

It's definitely the same Japanese collection as the sign on the floor next to the LM matches the one in the shot I included on page one.

Adding to the evidence, in the top shot of the second set you can see nose of another car across from the Bugatti and LM that is definitely on display in the museum. It is the Toyota TS010 LeMans car - #8 with ZENT livery - that placed 8th at the 1992 24Hrs of LeMans event.

Here's a shot of a 1/43rd scale replica of that same car:

You don't have similar shots of the F1 GT by chance do you? :greedy:

One more thing I just spotted - the shirts hanging on the wall behind the LM look very much like this one that hangs in my closet.

Are you asking me?

Sorry, not quite ready to share the full details just yet. I'm still piecing things together. In time...

No worries. Happy to share, with people that care.

Sorry mate, these were the only ones I found. Me and my stupid filing systems, I cannot check let alone remember where I found them. It must have been some japanese BBS, that I occassionaly browse, if I manage to find the car thread that is.
But I will keep my eyes open.
If you keep working on the museum info, I'm planning a Japan trip next year, so maybe I can visit it and see what I can do.

Re: Another pic. Grey F1 in Japan

Museum's opening hours and location are public info. I thought everyone here knew:

403 shoubuike
nagakute-machi
aichi-gun
aichi-ken 4801115
Japan

Tel 0561-63-8700

Take plenty of pics if you go.

Re: Another pic. Grey F1 in Japan

Alright, lets not get into another arguement. I know that Erik had spent a lot of time researching the museum and was looking for more information on it. I can understand why he wouldn't say what it is yet. If people are so interested in it, go research it yourself
