Re: AWD in my b20 lude.

My question is can I put the awd from the wagon into my lude? THAT'S what I want to know.

Re: AWD in my b20 lude.

Custom Fabrication If you want it done right, and for it to be able to support some power; you have to go full custom fabrication. There's no cheap way around this. Sell your car and buy an AWD one.

The Wagovan has a D series in it. You have a B20A. First D and B don't mix mostly. Second the B20A isn't going to fit jack, that motor sucks.

If you want a cheap AWD car find you a 90-94 GSX or TSI AWD.

Re: AWD in my b20 lude.

if you have the $$$ and like the lude body; do a complete custom fabrication and put in a 4g63 with the evo8 MR-edition drivetrain...youll have a good strong AWD system, a strong and powerful motor, and 6 spd

YES...but with lots of $$$...wouldn't reccomend the wagovan drivetrain...but you can do it

crx with crv drivetrain
http://public.fotki.com/morgie/qsr/crx_gsr_awd_turbo/

teg with crv drivetrain (not actual write-up thread)
http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=807099

so if the wagovan drivetrain was better they would have used that

Re: AWD in my b20 lude.

theres no practical way to get the wagovans awd to work in your prelude., firstly the awd was a pos, its not like awd from an evo or sti, its a pos. secondly the parts are so weak it could hardle handle the 108hp it was getting in the civic. third, if you can even find a wagovan anymore, last model i believe was an 89, then you'll be lucky if any of it is still usebale.

now you want to mate it too an s2k or dsm product, not happening. the b-series motor of the old prelude was not the same as the new b's from civic si's, or crv's, and they arent interchangeable either.

your best bet, save from not buying a real awd car like a subie, is to use the motor/drivetrain from a newer crv and upgrade that b20 and fit it into at least an 88+ civic/crx chassis.

good luck.

Re: AWD in my b20 lude.

civic guys have a bad rep as RICERS + so does every import/Honda driver with mods = Prelude + honda + CivickillerLude

Now for you non-math inclined folks what i have done is make two statements equal. Civickillerlude has infact told us he is a ricer and gives the rest of us a bad rep.

I for one dont have any mods done to my car so im not a ricer nor do i give the rest of us a bad rep! WEE HEEE!!!
