Re: oh happy day....no

damn cjz89civic, that really sucks about your black hatch. good thing you still have a 4th gen though. tomorrow right after school i'm heading over to the police station to hopefully pick up a copy of the police report so that my parents will call the lady's insurance company. my parents apologized about what had happened too. ahh, i need to get it fixed! it's so annoying when people look over at my car and then at me and assume i'm a bad driver or something.

Re: oh happy day....no

Also my insurance did not go up because it was the other guys fault. It did how ever go up because of two speeding tickets. lol

Re: oh happy day....no

my insurance didnt change after my accident, i think there was supposed to be a drop in my insurance that cancelled it out or something. Doesnt it seem like alot of people are wrecking their cars?

I totally agree. You can fix your car. Let Hybrid help you out. If I lived up north I'd even come help you out. Your car was looking tight. I'd like a front lip like that. Unfortunately, I'm not so good with cosmetic stuff. Actually, I think the paint on my front bumper is coming off cuz I've been exceding 80mph... doesn't appear to be from being scraped... oh well... Get it fixed, Vlad!

Re: oh happy day....no

ooh that sucks vlad.

when i got into my car accident some years back no one was found at fault (his car was sticking out on the shoulder and i clipped it. didn't cause any damage to his vehicle but SCREWED mine) and when my insurance found out, holy shit, i paid out the nose even though there were no claims made. insurance is weird, and it differs state to state. some guy backed into my mom's parked car in her driveway and it took her days to get the ball rolling on things. we had to wait til he claimed it on his insurance because if we went through my mom's she would have had to pay for the deductible and the rental car. the whole process is just messed up.

Cops suck. They try to take control over the whole situation and then they screw things up. Now you've got a bunch of hoops to jump thru just to report the damn accident. If not for that stupid cop you'd have the information you need without having to get some other stupid cop to look up a report for you (good luck with that, too) - and your dad wouldn't be so pissed. Frakin' cops.

Re: oh happy day....no

so i went to the police station today to get a copy of the police report. after walking around the station and having to go through security gaurds every 20 feet, and a half hour later, i finally made it to the place that stores all the accident reports. it was 10 bucks just for a copy of it! rediculous. so i got it and came home and read it and i found out the car this lady was driving was a 1987 dodge diplomat. but the thing that amazed me most was that this lady was 92 years old! i seriously thought she was like 60-something years old. damn. we called the lady's insurance company and the lady already called beforehand and we made the claim and within the next few days they're going to come and make an estimate for the repairs of my hatch. i guess i'm gonna be rocking a primered hatch for a few months. blah

Re: oh happy day....no

If you didnt know they will tell your insurance if the damage is over $500. You have to give them your info cause of the laws in accidents. Uless you get a cool adjuster but you will get more if your insurance company is involved.
