Yeah, it is funny. I got gas one day, went in to pay...The cashier guy says...I have NEVER seen sidepipes on a 240 SX before!
I then said...Have you ever seen a 350 V8 in a 240 ether? So he had to come out & hear it as I fired her up...Big smiles on both our faces!

nice lookin car, needs some suspension, get that wheel gap down. a good scrubin in the bay. id almost kill to have a car like a 240 with a engine that big

Yeah, I wish I had a sound clip for you guys...Its sounds better then it looks...
Not sure on the dyno...HP? But it sure perked up when I cut out the front Fake ducts & made them functional... It really ran cooler then too... It does need to have the suspension tweaked & beefed up some more...Its a work in progress... As far as the engine bay goes...The guy who did the swap panted everything black & then clear coated it. I took that pic a couple weeks ago when it was still dusty...& since then have gone over almost every inch to make it shine... I will see about getting a better engine shot this weekend. |

idk, maybe its the picture, but the sidepipes look really wierd, almost fake... im not saying they are, but they just dont have the sheen of real chrome/polished aluminum...etc...they look almost like fake kmart spinner spray painted plastic fake... again, im not saying they are...
nevermind. now that i look at it on a different screen, they look fine... musta been my crappy comp at home. gonna want to watch the pipes if you ever go over a speed bump after you slam it.

you see ive never understood why you would take an beutiful creation such as a 240 and defile it with a big block chev motor? nohing against the chev motor, but isnt putting the v8 into a nissan totally against the entire purpose of the car and what the designer had in mind? i mean the whole pupose of japanese engineering is to get huge power out of inline 4's or at most a 6, isnt it? just seems wrong to me and totally against the soul and spirit of what is trying to be accomplished with the car.
