Ok if there is a problem with the brakes if so then change the name of this post, jk haha. Is there any fluid on the floor on the drivers side under the steering wheel, if so then you have a leaking/failing master cylinder on your hands. If there is any fluid under the car by the slave cylinder then you have a leaking/failing slave cylinder. If you don't have any leaking then maybe...Well what exactly is your car doing? I am confused because I don't really know exactly what your car is doing.
Sorry please more info.

Re: HELP PLEASE! clutch problem!

ok i just replaced the clutch master cylinder and its still really soft and doesnt go into gear very easily. it seems as if i cant get all of the air out of the line. i have blead it MANY times. the lines are new so i know they dont have a hole. is there a certain way to install the clutch master cylinder. do you have to run fluid through it before you install it?? please help!

Re: HELP PLEASE! clutch problem!

if you say it's hard to get into gear it sounds like an adjustment problem. you could try getting under the dash and manually adjusting the master cylinder rod that connects to the pedal. if the engage point of your clutch is too low, it would be hard to get into gear. if the engage point were too high, then your clutch could slip under a heavy load. try adjusting it then try bleeding it again. how are you bleeding your clutch? the BEST way to do it is have 3 people total. one under the car to crack open the bleeder, one to fill up the master cylinder with brake fluid, another in the car to push the clutch pedal in. when bleeding, have a hose running from the bleeder valve to a clean pepsi can with fresh brake fluid in it, and make sure the bottom of the line is in the brake fluid. have someone push the pedal in, crack open the bleeder. look for air bubbles in the line, close bleeder, release clutch. repeat until you are satisfied. make sure to have someone adding brake fluid, you don't want the master cylinder getting too low.

oh and if by some odd chance, none of this is your problem, you could have worn clutch components. a bad t/o bearing would cause horrible engage points which could make it hard to get into gear.

Re: HELP PLEASE! clutch problem!

brakes have noting to do with it.... you have a master cylinder for your clutch and brakes. you can try to adjust it before you buy a new one, just disconnect it from the petal and turn the part that connects it to the petal counterclockwise to make the rod longer. there is a lock nut you have to brake loose first its 12mm

Re: HELP PLEASE! clutch problem!

ok everyone i have come to the conclusion that i think there is a very small hole in the clutch fluid line, we didnt replace all of the lines, just one. because when we were bleeding it all of the air wouldnt seem to come out. and it was feeling good right after we bled it, but after we started it up and pushed it in a few times it started to get soft again, so i think air is getting in the line

Hey bro check your fluid if thats ok maybe your slave cylinder is going out. Or your clutch master clylinder. Did you already try flushing your clutch line. If not try that first.

Are you kidding dude? DO NOT bring back threads that are over a month old unless you are the orignal poster and have an update. That doesn't even matter if they're ONE YEAR & 8 MONTHS back. I'm sure if he had a problem with his clutch, he wouldn't wait 20+ months for someone to tell him to check the fluid.
