I'm pretty sure it must of been a v6. They are pricing the New GT's at at least 28k base invoice is 25k

Or it was an older model gt like 99-04, the Srt-4 is faster then those stock for stock.

Go ahead and accept defeat i know i can claim fastest car under 20. I can also claim fastest car under 25 brand new. for the 2003-2005 model cars.

you will, LS1 = crazy fast. Great platform to build a 1/4 racer on but a Focus SVT will take that thing stock for stock in the twisties.

Im not talking about the original thread post, which was limited to the SRT-4 and the SVT focus. Im talking about Dodge's claim that the SRT-4 was the fastest car under 20k. That means new not used

I would go srt-4, they offer staged upgrades under warranty for the srt-4 making it a very good and safe deal.
As for the SVT cars... Well I like them to say the least but not the ego that most owners inherit from owning one

Brand new... got mine in feb of 05 with 15 miles on it 18k. you can get a brand new 05 out the door for 19.9k. It still is the fastest car under 20k if you wanna get technical its the fastest car under 21k. Jesus lol admit defeat, why wont you give the Srt-4 any credit? Did one beat you or something?

for 2004-2005 they increased the price from 20k to 21k because of larger injecters and reworked ecu + limited slip.
