So you are SURE you got it all out or are you assuming you did?

Before you think out the drain plug again, MAKE SURE YOU GOT IT ALL OUT.

Re: Oil Leak and white smoke

Not trying to change the subject , but if you have white smoke coming out of the tail pipe , you may have a water leak into a cylinder . Unless you just elected a pope . HAHA. Blue for oil , black for gas, white for water . but there is a long list of sourses of coolant . intake, head gaskets, cracks, head, block. Does it smoke only when started or does it smoke all the time ? What does it smell like ? good luck.

Re: Oil Leak and white smoke

i am positively sure i got it all out.
It only does it right at startup alittle and this morning i did not notice no blue smoke at start up. So i dont know if when it got emptied last night that took what was in there at the time out or what. But i have noticed the water back under the fill cap again but thats because its cold out and i only run about 5 mins back and forth

Re: Oil Leak and white smoke

White smoke at startup is completely normal.

Have you ever replaced your PCV valve?

Re: Oil Leak and white smoke

Another update. Got leak fixed at drain hole. He used a piggy back system and loc tite. He cleaned it up with some engine degreaser and thinks that the rear main seal is going out. He put dye in it and thats where it seams to be leaking from. Is this normal and how many hours labor am i looking at > Im pretty sure tranny has to come down for it. Let me know.
