Yeah, yeah, yeah. Bitch, moan, grizzle, whinge. That's what you get from NZ. Australia does nothing but help you little tackers out and what do we get....

"Why does it
have to be this way?" he asked. "How long must this go on? This fighting
between our nations? This hatred? This animosity?
I'm beginning to wonder myself .All of this Aussie v. Kiwi rivalry thing is getting an unpleasant edge to it.This is perhaps the best forum on the boards in which to celebrate our cultural similarities,so what do we do?We try to piss on each others' country as often as possible.Frankly it's getting boring(and before anyone points it out ,I am no better than the rest).

How about we all just give it a rest for a few nights and post up something more worthwhile?

Not a bad suggestion. But I think you hit the nail ont head there. We are celebrating cultural similarities because the culture in Australia and obviously NZ is to pay people out (tall poppy syndrome, if you will). ANd I think I'll just get Chickn and chps from now on.

Woah woah woah, us Kiwi's and Aussies should be thankful, we are the only countries that can take the piss out of each other and take it as humor, if anyother countries took the piss out of eachother as we do, there would be bombs and racial violence

Taking the piss is fine, but - as Mr T said - lately it seems that quite often there is a really nasty edge to it; which is odd, considering how alike NZ and Australia really are (apart from the Aussies' strange accents of course )

EXCUSE ME!!!!!!!!

You pronoune I's like E's, like buy seex dollars of cheeps or other wise like Oi eg. Roight Oi bought you your cheeps

This is becoming exactly like the USA vs Canada problem Yanks make fun of the way Canadians speak because they are clearer and more grammarical.

Aussies do the same. NZer's (Well North Islanders at least) pronounce thier words clearly and actually pronounce I's quie strongly (well at least I do) and are also less heavy on the slang, but South Islanders they might as well be Ockers, the way they speak:finger:

It also appers Australia is becoming somewhat an arrogant nation that is like a Teenager wants to be in the cool crowd (aka a world player), but keeps falling short and then takes it out on it's little brother (NZ)
