Re: Has any of you seen the 2005 Mustang GT500?

I agree to b3warnick to a great extent but I still believe that GT500916's Eleanor captures an aristocracy that the new Mustang would fail to achieve in its entire lifetime.

nope cant have it :P and i have a picture of a supra because i dont like everyone asking me a lot of questions about it everywhere i post. I have gotten way to much attention with the car on every single stop light haha. Im thinking about putting a limo tint on my car and always keeping my windows up so people will stop bugging me on the streets lol!

see im right!! sure the new cars can feel nicer and be more comfortable as well, but its the feeling that you get when you are driving something that you build with sweat and pain that gives you the joy.

Plus having only 8 spark plug wires under the hood is also nice compared to like 5 Personal computers under a hood of a new car and if something goes wrong you either cant get to it to fix, or you dont know what the heck is wrong with it and you need another PC to figure out what the heck happened to your car, and then it will cost you another some Gs to fix the problem.

I enjoy feeling pure power that is not generated by computers but by the actual engine. thats just my opinion.

Im with ya there. Id rather build something and be proud of what i built rather than say yay i got something off the showroom floor!!! Not haveing a computer(s) in the car is also very nice considering you and only you will be working on this car and you will know what you did to fix it instead of lending it to someone else and trusting them with your car. Old wins this round...
